The first headshot program was part of Magna Seating’s global conference, where more than 110 attendees received updated professional headshots.
Approximately one month later, Hugh Anderson Photography was brought back for a second, larger headshot assignment for approximately 150 Magna employees.
Together, the two projects demonstrate how a consistent headshot style can be maintained across large teams and group headshot sessions, while keeping the photography process efficient and easy for employees.
The First Assignment: 110+ Conference Headshots
The first project was an on-site headshot clinic during Magna Seating’s multi-day global conference.
A professional mobile studio was set up at the conference venue, allowing attendees to have their headshots photographed without leaving the event. More than 110 professional headshots were created during the program.
Each person received individual direction during their session, while the lighting, background, framing and overall photographic style remained consistent throughout the assignment.
The result was a cohesive collection of professional portraits suitable for LinkedIn profiles, company directories, presentations and other corporate uses.
A Second Magna Headshot Assignment
Following the conference, Hugh Anderson Photography was asked to return for a separate Magna headshot project involving approximately 150 employees.
Rather than treating the second assignment as an entirely new photographic style, the goal was to provide the same polished and consistent approach across another large group of employees.
With approximately 150 people to photograph, an efficient workflow was important. The mobile studio allowed employees to move through their sessions quickly while still receiving individual posing and expression guidance.
Consistency Across 260+ Corporate Headshots
Large corporate headshot projects require more than simply photographing a high number of people.
Lighting, camera position, background, cropping and posing all need to remain controlled so that photographs created at different times still look like they belong together. Across the two Magna assignments, more than 260 employees were photographed while maintaining a consistent professional appearance throughout the finished images.
This provides companies with a unified library of employee portraits that can be used across websites, internal directories, LinkedIn profiles, presentations and marketing materials.
On-Site Headshots Without Disrupting the Workday
For larger organizations, bringing employees to an outside photography studio is rarely practical. An on-site setup allows the photography to come directly to the company or event.
The mobile headshot studio can be installed in a conference room, meeting space or event venue and operated around the organization’s schedule.
Employees can typically step away for only a few minutes, have their portrait photographed, and return to their work or event.
This approach makes professional team headshots practical for both smaller departments and company-wide programs involving 100 or more people.
