An Engagement Session Is So Cool!

Engagement sessions are really fun, and as a huge bonus, produce images that will become so important into the future. Engagement pictures in my opinion as a professional wedding photographer, should always be included in all wedding packages. There is just so much to get from it.

We will learn what poses, expressions, etc. suit you best, including what you don't like, and this will be invaluable information going into your wedding day.  Consider your engagement session as a trial run. What it will definitely do, is help you to relax in front of the camera, and your get you comfortable with me.

It's a perfect time to test out things like hair and make up. Having your hair and make up done by the person that will do it on your wedding day is super helpful - you will see just how it will when we ass the images to your Italian wedding album. It's better to know what works at this stage.

When the wedding day arrives, you will be much more at ease as you are being photographed, having lenses trained on you. That will definitely result in better wedding photographs. Relaxed expressions always produce more beautiful wedding photographs.

Some Engagement Session Advice

As mentioned earlier, and engagement session should be seen as a trial run for your wedding day. This advice is for brides, the boys don't worry too much about their hair and make up!

As a bride, you would obviously want to look at your wedding pictures once your big day is over and think "my hair and make up looked so beautiful", right? That's the perfect outcome, to be extremely happy with how you looked.

Make up on camera however, is different than it is to the naked eye. It looks heavier in an image. This is of course information best discovered before your wedding day.

Your engagement session is the perfect way to test things out. Have your hair and make up done by whoever will do it on the wedding day, make sure that they snap an image or two on their phone for their future reference, and let's go take some engagement pictures!

You will then be able to spot any adjustments that you want to make on your wedding day.

Engagement sessions with me have FUN as a mandatory requirement. Spending a little time together, having some laughs, and producing beautiful images, all help make for a better wedding day experience.
