Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Paula & David, on what turned out to be a beautiful day – both the event and the weather. The bride and groom were so easy to work with!
Working with nice people, though I have said it before, makes things so much more enjoyable, and the families of both the bride and groom couldn’t have been nicer. An ideal scenario for any professional wedding photographer.
The Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in St Claire Shores is one of the more unique venues that I have photographed a wedding at. The church is beautiful – full of vibrant colors, and well lit (always a plus for photos). It is super cool though to walk out of a full blown church, and enter the reception hall only a few steps away in the same building.
I spoke to Father Michael before the ceremony, and asked if flash photography was permitted. He was so pleasant, and said “of course”, and when I said we would be very respectful he replied with a smile, “I have no doubt”. Again, yet another really pleasant person on the day.
So, let’s look at a few images, after all, that’s the purpose of this post. 🙂
