A Detroit Whitney & Rooster Tail winter wedding is a beautiful thing. It also a very cold thing.
Despite that, Renee, Andrew and their bridal party braved the freezing weather, without a single complaint. As I stood in my warm North Face coat, feeling like a block of ice, I wondered how the girls in their dresses could even be outdoors. Hat’s off to all of you. You were awesome.
So here are a few images from this very classy Detroit winter wedding. The getting ready part of the day was held at the Atheneum Suite Hotel, an interesting location, with an old, expensive ambience.
The ceremony at The Whitney was a first for Venture Photography. If there were just one word to describe this venue, it would have to be unique. Getting married in front of a stained glass window, though not in a church, made it so.
Then it was off to the reception at The Roostertail. I do like this venue, and the staff are very, very helpful. And that goes a long way. Enjoy the images!
